    A strange sea creature reportedly washed ashore Eleko beach in Lagos.
    Residents were said to have spotted the very large mammal which looks like a whale along the shores of the beach.

    The strange fish on the shore of Eleko beach
    It is not clear what specie it is but the animal is large and white with brownish ridges on it.
    It appears to have died after being beached.
    According to report, residents in the area did not waste any time in chopping it up for food.

    This is not the first time a large sea creature would be washing ashore a beach in Lagos.
    In August 2013, a dead whale had been spotted at Alpha beach in Lagos and many headed for the beach to partake in the sharing of the free meat.
